SJ8 PRO can save files in RAW format and will write a header file to containing more image information like sharpness, Contrast, Saturation, Color Temperature, White Balance among others. RAW format allows for more options in post processing. You will never ever have to worry about losing quality of JPG files, accidentally saving over, or being unable to go back and make changes.
